Julia and Paul jet-setted their way from Hobart Tasmania to Margaret River in Western Australia for their wedding day. They are a wonderful couple and we very much enjoyed the laughter and fun times with them and their fantastic bridal party. Paul and Julia were married in the very beautiful rammed earth St Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Margaret River and their reception was held in the grounds of the Xanadu Winery in Margaert River, where we took all of the vineyard photographs, then it was off to the stunning coastline at Redgate Beach.

After many phone calls and emails it was fantastic to finally meet Francesca and Alex and to photography their wedding day. Living in Singapore/Hong Kong makes it a little difficult to pop over and have a chat about their wedding but modern technology makes it possible. The wedding ceremony and reception were held in the grounds of the very beautiful Vasse Felix Winery. Francesca and Alex wanted to show off the incredible coast scapes of the Margaret River / Yallingup region so we took them to one of our favourite wedding locations. As you can see they look sensational in their surroundings. You can view more of our work at LLOYD-SMITH PHOTOGRAPHY WEBSITE.

We started the wedding day with Tennille and girls ( and how good do they all look WOW) at the Wyndham Resort in Dunsborough before heading off to Our Lady of the Bay church in Busselton. WE then headed to the sensational coastline of south west WA to shoot the wedding photography. The wind was cutting, not to mention freezing, and the bridal party were fantastic. I am always pleased with a team of people that realize the importance of the photography for our couples and soldier on no matter what the weather brings. So well done guys! Gerry and Tennille your wedding album is going to look spectacular, not long to wait now 🙂  The reception was held at the Abbey Beach Resort where the reception room looked incredible. We spent a sensational Sunday with this fantastic couple, having a ball with them and shooting some great pictures at the Joondalup Golf Resort in Perth. Lauren had two fantastic bridesmaids in Erin and Alicia and Chris had two great guys in Sean and Andrew to complete their bridal party and we laughed all day, which makes the photography session so much more enjoyable. Here is a very small selection of wedding pics to share with you and we can’t wait to finish your stunning wedding album. Thanks again for the beautiful flowers and bottle of wine, Steph and I really appreciated the prezzies. Very much looking forward to that game of golf we have planned with the boys 🙂

Thanks Steve and Steph. We are absolutely stoked with how our pictures turned out. Everyone we show them to comments on how awesome they are. Thanks Steve for making the photo session of the wedding flow so easily and you made it fun and relaxed. For not normally being photo-people you made it so comfortable. And Steph, thankyou for all the little bits and pieces that you did for me from flowers to fixing dresses. You were fabulous. A big thankyou to you both, we could not have asked for anyone better on the day. Cant wait to see the final album – counting the days!

Lauren and Chris.

It is hard to remember after such a long hot dry spell that in amongst that there have been a couple of days that rain did fall, and Geoff and Leannes’ wedding day was one of those days. The great news though is that by the time we came out of the St Thomas Moore Church in Margaret River the worst of it had passed and only the howling see breeze was left to deal with. Leanne dressed at the Riverglen Chalets in Margeret River and the reception was held at the beautiful Notting Hill Vineyard in Margaret River.

Tanya and Matt got ready for their big day at the Wyndham Vacations Resort in Dunsborough and didn’t have far to travel because the ceremony and the reception were all there. We did make our way to a close by Dunsborough winery and to the beach where we had a fantastic time and were entertained by a family of passing whales. This really is a great place to live and shoot wedding photography isn’t it?

Great couple - great location.
